4. Security Best Practices
- Never commit secrets: Always utilize Aureon Environment Variables for credentials, database passwords, and API keys.
- Review repository permissions: Limit third-party Git permissions to only required repositories.
- Keep dependencies updated: Regularly audit dependencies for known security vulnerabilities using
npm audit. - Use least privilege: Generate database credentials with the minimum required access rights for application containers.
